Range Rules

Firearm Safety

Always keep the firearm pointed in a safe direction.

Always keep you finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.

Always keep the firearm unloaded until ready to use.

Know how to safely operate your firearm.

Use only the correct ammunition for your firearm.

Wear appropriate eye and ear protection.

Wash hands thoroughly using soap and cold water after shooting.

Never use alcohol, marijuana, or any type of illegal, or legal substance that may impair your ability to safely handle a firearm.

Keep the muzzle downrange at all times, even when you are clearing a malfunction.


No disruptive behavior or distractions to others while on the firing line. Members must conduct themselves with proper etiquette and respect for one another.

All members should have in their possession the appropriate licenses and / or documentation from the licensing division for their firearms.

No live ammunition in the cleaning area. Regular cleaning of  firearms is encouraged to maintain proper functionality.

No ammunition or firearms are to be stored in personal lockers.

Push brass out to the range floor, remove all used targets from hangers, and dispose of any and all trash from ports.

No magnums allowed. Handguns, .22 rifles, and rifles chambered in handgun cartridges allowed.

Obey all commands of the range officer / or instructor on duty.

Above all, safety is the top priority!
