I recently completed the New York 18-hour CCW course, and the experience exceeded every expectation. The instructors are exceptionally credentialed, bringing a deep level of professional expertise and real-world clarity to the classroom. The curriculum is remarkably thorough. Beyond the foundational safety protocols and rigorous legal mechanics required for responsible firearm ownership, the course delivers an extensive wealth of practical, local resources. The instructors went above and beyond by providing insider guidance on where to source ammunition efficiently, alongside the best local pricing for FFL transfers and background checks—details that save both time and money for any new or seasoned gun owner. This class is an absolute must for anyone serious about exercising their Second Amendment rights safely, legally, and responsibly. I cannot recommend this program enough.

"Truly an enjoyable and informative training course. If you are thinking about applying for your ccw permit, don’t let the required 18 hour training course (and live shooting) discourage you. The club instructors make this an incredibly pleasant and rewarding experience. Do it!"

"The instructors at Stuyvesant are highly knowledgeable and have effectively organized an excellent class. I emerged from the class with a comprehensive understanding of safety protocols and legal regulations pertaining to handgun ownership. I highly recommend Stuyvesant to anyone seeking to obtain a concealed carry weapon permit."

“I attended a CCW Class at Stuyvesant, and it was truly eye-opening. The amount of critical topics covered, along with the instructors sharing their real-world experiences of carrying a firearm, was greatly appreciated. They weren’t just average instructors—they are civilians who deal with New York State CCW rules every day, just like I will. Their perspectives and recommendations on how to enter this new CCW world were invaluable."
